There's never enough.
My father, once again, went on a rant about paying bills and how we are not to spend much leisure money, if any, at all. He does this nearly every time he receives a paycheck of some kind.
And then after he apologizes, he always tells me to buy whatever I want and crap like that when I know full well that it's not like that. Out of the hundreds of times that this has happened, he seemed pretty sorry today. Yet when he came to tell me he was sorry and for me to "have fun shopping" I still can not bring myself to believe it. Does he really expect me too after so many times?
And what's so sad is that my mother told me that on Black Friday, when we actually had a little bit of spending money to go around, my father only bought himself a watch (and not a fancy one at that) and a pair of long underwear. Then she also went on to tell me that he in the end exchanged the watch three times and ended up with a very simple, plain, old watch, much like his previous one because he decided that the first one was "too fancy". That truly made me sad.
And now apparently we're still going to be headed to some overpriced party tomorrow night, that we can't really afford to go to at all. Yet, my father was asked to sing a duet with my mother by the host and hostess so of course my father jumped at the chance and is sticking to his word and not pulling out (even though it's costing him a night off work which he has to pay back by working Christmas and New Years Eve).
This is really all too much for me to write in one short blog entry. I let out a lot but that's just how this will stay.
This song has been stuck in my head this morning and early afternoon. The translation video below was made by my bestie. She did a great job ^_^ This is one our most favorite, if not our favorite, DBSK slow song.
